Who do I help?
I work with individuals and couples who are navigating a challenging season, relationship shift, or patterns they’re ready to understand and change. Clients may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in their relationships, family, dating, work, or everyday life.
I also support clients through major life transitions, including fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, and grief and loss. Whether you’re working through something specific, navigating change together, or simply feeling like something isn’t quite working, therapy can be a space to slow down, understand what’s underneath, and find a way forward.
How do I help?
I help you slow down and understand what’s happening beneath the surface, so you can respond with more intention instead of getting pulled into the same patterns.
My work is grounded in Gottman-informed couples therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS). IFS helps us get curious about the parts of you that feel anxious, overwhelmed, protective, or disconnected, while Gottman’s approach helps us understand the patterns that keep couples stuck.
For couples, we’ll look beneath the argument to understand what each of you is reaching for, identify the cycle you’ve fallen into, and build new ways of communicating, repairing, and reconnecting. The goal isn’t to eliminate conflict, it’s to help you understand each other more deeply and create a relationship where you both feel seen, heard, and on the same team.

I help you understand yourself more clearly and make the kind of changes that actually hold. I'm warm, curious, and honest with you, even when it's the harder thing to say.
I believe we're all made up of many parts, and that even the reactions we most want to change are usually trying to protect us in some way. So much of what we carry into our relationships comes from these parts working overtime, often since long before we had the words for it.
My work draws primarily on Internal Family Systems, a gentle, non-pathologizing way of getting to know those parts so they can soften and you can lead from a calmer, steadier place. With couples, I bring in the Gottman Method to cool down conflict and rebuild the friendship underneath it. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be fully yourself—understood, challenged when it matters, and never judged.
Therapy doesn’t need to feel clinical or overly polished to be meaningful. I want you to be able to bring the messy, contradictory, unfinished parts of what you’re going through into the room. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what needs to change. We can figure that out together.
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I see clients under the clinical supervision of Amanda Burback, LMFT. So the care you receive is backed by her experience as well as mine.
